Scope

This policy explains what Saga Machine Company, LLC collects through sagamachineco.com, how it is used and who it is shared with. It covers this website only. It does not cover information exchanged through a purchase order, a signed agreement or a secure file transfer arranged separately.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form or the contact form we collect the name, company, email address and phone number you enter, along with the part details you provide: part name or number, quantity, material, tolerance requirement, target lead time, target pricing, industry and any notes. The quote form also accepts an uploaded file. We also record standard technical information through analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring source, device type, browser and time of visit.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. These set cookies in your browser. Google processes that data on our behalf and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site or submit a form. We do not run advertising pixels and we do not sell data to advertisers.

Why we use it

To respond to a quote request or an inquiry, to prepare a quotation and perform any resulting order, to maintain records associated with quotes and orders including records required under our AS9100D quality system, and to understand site traffic. We do not use your information to market to you unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

This site is hosted by Webflow, Inc., which stores form submissions on our behalf. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC. Email is handled through Microsoft 365. If you place an order requiring heat treat, plating, coating or paint, we share the information necessary to perform that work with approved outside processors managed under our AS9100D system. We disclose information where required by law, by a regulatory authority, or under a customer or government right of access provision, including requests arising under ITAR or EAR. We do not sell your personal information.

Export controlled information

Do not submit ITAR-controlled, EAR-controlled or otherwise export-controlled technical data through this website. Forms on this site are not an approved channel for controlled data. See our Terms of Use.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Records associated with a quoted or performed order are kept for a minimum of ten years, consistent with the record retention requirement we flow down to our own suppliers. Submissions that do not result in an order are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information submitted through this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Anything requiring controlled handling must go through a channel arranged separately.

Your choices

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the record retention obligations described above and to any legal or contractual requirement to keep it. Contact us using the details below.

Children

This is a business to business site and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
